For the past days we have been very worried about our boy who had stomach pains that bothered him so much. It left him and us awake for many nights. We finally took him to the hospital. After series of ct scans and tests, he had an appendectomy. It is unimaginable that someone so little could go through all the trauma of those injections, scans, laboratory tests and an operation. But we are thankful that the operation was a success. Not yet fully recovered, he still experiences pain in his stomach. But I guess this is a different kind of pain now, being through an operation. I am just glad that after he will fully recover, he can still enjoy the activities of a normal 3 and a half year-old. Not like he would need pool lifts when he would swim in a pool. I know having a very active boy can be draining sometimes, but honestly, I miss his running and bouncing around now that he is stuck in bed!
