Depressed?

I'm not a person who can easily get depressed, though I admit there was a time in my life that I might have experienced this unknowingly. It was only then years after, when I read about it in a book and remembered that I must have experienced depression at that time without knowing it.

So, how does one person fight depression? In Matthew 11:28, Jesus said,“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Whenever we already feel tired, discouraged, burnt out and bogged down, this verse always comes to mind and it reminds me to draw closer to God. God can hear our prayers, God can give us rest. So, there's actually no need to take anti depressant medicine. I've heard that some medicine also has negative side effects like birth defects. A number of people are actually hiring zoloft lawyers now as they've experienced these negative side effects in taking Zoloft.
