I like to see the shop lots and buildings in Hanoi. They are so cute! The front area is usually only about 2.5 to 3 meters wide with floors reaching up to the 4th floor. I guess their lots are quite expensive there which would explain the the small shops and shop lots. I find their designs quite nice too since it has a French influence.
I don't know how much it would cost to rent a house or shop lot in Hanoi, but it would be quite interesting to see how their interiors are designed with such a small width space. And speaking of homes, I heard that their are beautiful new homes for sale in virginia . If you're from around there, then better check it out! :)
