We always read in the news about recalls on different products from cars to baby strollers. Some of these products being recalled can cause serious injury to the users while some products are not that dangerous but companies are just being more careful. Many of these companies have the consumers' safety on mind and I guess some of them also want to prevent lawsuits like the Accutane lawsuit being hurled at them.
One of the most recent recall that I've got to know is the Depuy hip recall. This product is not common to all as this is a hip replacement system. But about 93,000 of these have been recalled since patients complain of swelling and severe pain from the product. A second hip replacement has even been deemed necessary from this faulty product.
