New Washing Area

Thank God that our plumbing problem in our kitchen has already been fixed. Our houseowner came the other week, and fixed it himself. He actually found a bottle hidden underneath the drain by the previous occupants. The bottle cause the clogging and therefore the overflow of the drain. And with the other drain ( in the same kitchen), overflow also happens when we wash our clothes. As a solution, Hubby moved our washing machine in the garage.

I'm glad that both problems has been fixed. I also like our kitchen setting better now. It looks more spacious without the washing machine and the laundry basket. Washing in the garage also makes washing and drying clothes very easy for me. I just need to drag our clothes' steel dryer near the washing machine and I can then hang the clothes immediately. The only disadvantageous though is that the washing machine has taken a bit more space in the garage that it'll be quite difficult to park the car. So, as of the moment our car is parked outside. We don't really have to worry about car theft here in our place since we are in a safe neighborhood. Many of our neighbors' cars are also parked outside their houses and so far there weren't any incidents of car theft or theft in the neighborhood yet. It'll be good though to put a tarp in front of our house to protect the car from the sun and the rain. I think, roof tarps would be ideal but I've also heard that some people use hurricane tarps. I've seen some great tarps online and this site is indeed known for quality and durability.
