I've mentioned in my past post ( or was that in my other blog?) about our li'l boy whose sleeping pattern is just very different at this time.
This new sleeping pattern has started a few weeks ago and has continued until now. We would start putting him to sleep from 9:00-9:30 PM and he would only sleep from 11:00 PM- 12 midnight. There were times we would let him sleep a bit later, so we go around town to keep him (and us ) occupied while waiting for the time. But it was still the same, he would still sleep 2-3 hours later.
But last night was the latest time he slept. He slept at 2 AM in the morning! He would actually just be lying down, with his eyes opened and refusing to close it. We've tried everything from changing his milk ( because we thought the old milk must contain a lot of sugar which makes him active), to letting have his afternoon naps earlier, to making sure his diapers is always dry, let him run around the Hatyai Stadium to make him tired but to no avail. It's not a fun experience for us. It's quite frustrating and tiring especially since night time is only supposed to be the 'free' time that we have as parents. So, as a result, we also don't get enough sleep and much work is left undone.
Anyways, today I didn't let my boy sleep in the afternoon at all. Later we will let him run around the stadium again and we'll see if he sleeps earlier. Hopefully he does because he has to attend his trial pre school tomorrow morning. It actually started today but since he only slept at 2am last night, we decided to let him skip the 1st day.
I just hope and pray that he would go back to his normal sleeping pattern in no time.
