Our little girl was supposed to go with Hubby to the fishing village this morning. She was so excited about it last night since they were going be giving out some stuffed toys ( including our li'l girl's) to the children there.
But Hubby had to leave so early in the morning, since he had to fetch a few people first before the trip. Our li'l girl was still sleeping so soundly by then. So, we decided not to wake her up and bring her there next week instead.
An hour later our girl woke up and her first question was, " Where's Appa?" Uh oh! When I told her that he Appa already left and she was still sleeping when he left, she was already crying. I had to think of a 'rescue operation'. When I called my Hubby, they were already on the way to the village and has no chance of turning back since they are already late for the program. So, I decided to let her do one of her favorite activities, help me in making pancakes! When I asked her if she wanted to help in making pancakes, I saw the sparkle in her eyes.
So, I stopped what I was doing and brought out all the pancake ingredients, pans ( excluding stainless steel drums) measuring cups and etc. And she turned out to be so happy breaking the eggs, whisking them, pouring, measuring and etc. Whew!
