My First Parker Pen

I got my first personalized Parker Pen from my Ate Gina. She's one of the people I really look up as she was the one who nurtured me as a growing Christian. I remember that she gave that pen to me during my Despidida in church because I was leaving for college. I really valued that gift not just because it's a Parker pen but because it's got my name on it and it was given to me by a great friend and 'sister'. But then , halfway through the semester, I lost it. I'm not so much into material things but that time , I cried over a pen! I guess that pen somehow symbolized a lot of things for me, family, friends , church and etc. and losing it made me homesick all the more. :) After that, I bought another Parker pen for myself, but the 'value' is as much as the 1st one given to me. I can't even remember the 'end' of that pen anymore, whether it got lost or ran out of ink.
