9th Anniversary!

A week more to go and it's going to be our 9th wedding anniversary! Yes, it has been 9 years since my Hubby and I became 1. Nine years seems a lot but I just didn't realize that time went by so fast! Looking at the past nine years, I'm grateful to God for sending me my perfect match. Though there were a few adjustments to be made for a cross cultural marriage like ours but then, as time goes on, at times I even forget that I'm married to a 'foreigner'. :)

Sometimes, I wonder why people give us those funny stares as if something is 'different' with us, only then to realize that indeed we are different from other couples or families because we're from different cultures. What's even funny is that people sometimes think that we met through a free dating site. We then get the 'ohs and ahs' when we tell them a bit of our love story. :)

Anyways, I'm excited for our upcoming anniversary. We don't have anything planned on this special day but of course, this day will be filled with thanksgiving to God for being faithful in our lives as a couple and as a family!
