Way back in University, I had a friend who's mom was into real estate business. Her mom was actually doing very well and she has been encouraging me and another friend to work part time for her. It's a local real estate but I guess it will be much like CT real estate , Cheshire real estate or Meriden real estate. The opportunity offered was based on commission but if you get a closed deal, it would really be big. Knowing how timid I can get in front of people, I already know that doing this kind of work is never my cup of tea. So, I politely declined the offer but my other friend got excited and took the offer. I can't remember much though if my other friend got to close a deal. But I remember she had a few relatives who were interested.
Oh, thinking about this now, makes me miss my friends. It has been more than a decade since I last saw them. I will really try my best to drop by in Manila during our trip to the Philippines at the end of the month. It'll be nice to catch up with them face to face after so long.

A real estate agent can garner a lot of income from their commissions, but it all depends on how good one is in closing deals.
