Less Than 20 Years Ago

During my 1st year in the University, our professor told us about 'emails'. I've heard about 'emails' and the internet but didn't have an idea on how they worked. Then he made a 'prediction' that soon there will be millions of people ( in the Philippines) having access with the internet and email. As an internet/computer illiterate, I couldn't quite imagine the possibility but a few years later, it has indeed become a reality.

Now, the internet has literally changed the way we communicate, conduct business and even changed the 'course' of nations. If blogging or ppc search marketing were unheard of before, now this has become one of the internet 'jargon'.

Yes, the internet has indeed been very helpful for each one of us. We could have direct access to information, communicate with our loved ones and even earn from it. But admittedly, it sometimes takes away our precious time on more important things. So, the key for us is "balance" and I'm sure everything will turn out good.
