My li'l boy is just like other small boys imagining he's a robot, a dinosaur or a soldier. I know I should buy for him a soldiers costume next time, the one with camouflage patterns. I'm sure he will love it. I wonder if he would want to wear a Multicam tactical gear when he grows up too.
Anyways, my boy might seem so tough and strong but I'm amused that there is also a gentle side of him too. He also likes to pretend he's a baby lion especially when he wanted to be a pet for his older sister. Then he also pretends he's a little Appa ( father) for his sister's baby doll. I'm amused as to how he feeds and take cares of his babies. I'm sure there are moms out there who must cringe with the thought of their boys playing with baby dolls. But, as for me, I don't really want to think of this as being 'abnormal'. I'm secure with my son's 'masculinity' but I don't want him to grow up thinking that as a man he has nothing to do with babies. But just like his father, I want him to be a hands on Dad too, helping the mom take care of the kids.
