Our First Bread

Our daughter's science topic in her homeschool is about the yeast and one of our experiments is to bake bread. I was also happy with the opportunity to bake bread since it's been a long time I've wanted to try out making bread.

Making the bread is a bit more difficult than baking cake. I think our dough was a bit sticky and I was even thinking that our bread won't turn out well. But, thankfully it turned out well except for the outside that looks tough. But when you bite on it, it's soft and tasted good too.


Now, my daughter is so interested in baking while my preschooler son is contented in playing with his dough and pretending to cook and bake with it. It would be nice to be them a guidecraft kitchen set to prepare them to be of great help for me in the kitchen. LOL!

Anyways, after the bread, I'm planning to bake cheesecake or other pastries which I haven't baked before.
