We went around to look for a house this evening. We are actually looking for houses near our present subdivision first so that our daughter won't have to move to another school since we like her school now.
So, we went to the new subdivision which is only a street away from our house. We then saw this newly built house that has a signage that it's for rent. It's a very nice looking modern house. It looks very big and spacious from the outside with a 'side yard' , back yard and a garage that can fit 2 cars.
My Hubby then called to inquire of the cost for renting the house. And wow! we were so shocked with the price that the house owner quoted. It's three times the rent for our present house! Anyways, Hubby tried to bargain and he said that the owner seems to be a very nice woman. Hubby is actually bargaining for more than half of the price she quoted. She then lowered down the house rent but then we feel that it's still too high for us. If we forcefully agree to her price, we might end up getting monthly cash loans or payday loans online just to pay for the rent. :)
Anyways, we really like the house and Hubby and I thought that maybe we can add up another thousand baht from our original budget and see whether she will be agreeable to it. It's still way down her quoted 'bargain' price but there's no harm in trying. We are also praying for God's favor and if it's His will for us to rent that house, then nothing is impossible.
