Hubby just decided to take out the long curtains in our living room and put in additional 'stained glass' design stickers on the glass windows. The curtain rod actually gave up and broke because Lyle tried to hang on the curtains like Tarzan. At first he will just try to pull the curtains as he and her sister play hide and seek. And later, I guess he wanted to try hanging on it like Tarzan.. and it broke. Sigh! Boys will be boys huh? So, to prevent this incident again, it's about time to take out the curtain so, we had to put in the 'stickers' to give us shade during the day time.
Anyways, it's good that it's just the curtain rod that broke and not something else like our glass door or glass windows. It'll be more dangerous for the kids if something like this get broken. And not to mention we will need to have them replaced too. We don't have great window shops here like Long Island replacement windows so, it'll be quite difficult to find nicer ones.
