My Blog Journey, Link Exchange and More

My friend and I have been chatting the other day. We were reminiscing our blogging journey. We can't believe that it has only been a few years since we started blogging. Three years to be exact, for me. It seems that we've been blogging for so long already plus the benefits that we've reaped through blogging has really been a real blessing to us.

I could very well remember that I started blogging as a way to update my family with our kids' milestones and development. My first blog was actually in Friendster. Until, I moved to Yahoo 360 and then my friend introduced me to Blogger. It was in Blogger that I met other bloggers and befriended a few of them. At first, I was so shy and would even have second thoughts of leaving comments or messages in the Cbox in other people's blog. But then, later through reading other blogs, I realized that it's more fun to have other blogger friends and do reciprocal link exchange. Just now I found a site that can give you up to a thousand of backlinks! Anyways, back to my blogging history, it was then I knew about the possibility of monetizing the blog, the benefits of link exchange, page ranks and etc. So, from a shy blogger, I turned out to be a busy blogger. I would randomly visit different blogs, leave comments and ask them to visit me back so I can gain more traffic and etc. After my friend's encouragement, I also joined in monetizing my blog. So, I applied my blog in different companies. And the rest is history..

But from a busy blogger, I now turned into a lazy blogger. I would sometimes have to force myself to update my blog. I guess, Facebook needs to take a part of the blame. Whenever I'm online, I usually get stuck with Facebook until I usually gets too lazy to write anything on my blog.
