168m Ticket Binned

I've just read a news article about a husband who 'trashed' a lottery ticket that is believed to be the winning ticket for the 185$ grand prize. The wife reported that when she bought the ticket she wrote the numbers down on her notebook and gave to the husband for safekeeping. So, when the winning number was announced, she checked on her notebook and was ecstatic to know that it was their ticket. But when she asked her husband to get the ticket, that's when she found out that the husband has already thrown it away. Ooppsss! So, they turned their house upside down looking for the ticket but to no avail.

If they find the ticket, they will be included in Britain's rich list. But then again, just like most of lottery winners or anyone who gets rich fast without working hard for it, research shows that they usually end up poorer than they began but only with more stuff. That's why, these quick get rich schemes will never benefit the people but instead lead them to be more unproductive. It is still best to work for our earnings or invest in businesses or maybe even buy gold for future investments.
