FICCO is a cooperative that I joined when I was still in the Philippines. I didn't have any knowledge about COOPs before but then when I saw most of my family members were a member of a coop and saw that they had a lot of benefits, I also joined in. Well, I'm thankful that I did because I also received some benefits from FICCO. This coop allows you make personal loans with very minimal interest but with the condition that you also put in money in your share accounts and savings account. So, it kinda teaches you not just to borrow but also to save up. And then they also have hospital benefits plus their yearly dividends.
