The 1st Male Nurse

I remember a couple of years ago when I read from an article about the 1st male nursing graduate in Malaysia. I smiled when I saw the article and to find out that having a 'male' nurse in the country is still unusual. And then I remember the thousand of male nurses and nursing students in the Philippines, these include my nephews and cousins. Gone are the days, when the nursing profession was just thought to be a profession only for the females. But why was this profession stereotyped for the females when sometimes a man's strength is needed to carry patients from bed to bed.

Anyways, with more male added in the medical profession, there is also greater demand for male nursing uniform scrubs and medical scrubs. Some people are even buying scrubs online now as there are more options in quality, brand and cost when it's sold online.
