As I've mentioned earlier, this month and the next are the month full of celebration for our family. It's the birthday of my nephew, brother, brother in law and my sister too. And as it is with our culture, celebration is somehow equated with food and fun! Those are actually few of the reasons why I love celebrations. But with my ongoing weight loss endeavor, it's already difficult to celebrate without thinking of the extra calories, fats, protein and so on and so forth! It would be good if I think about them and do something about it. But I just think for awhile and go on and enjoy my food. LOL! The guilt comes a bit later and does the 'results' .. you know the extra flabs here, there and everywhere! :)
Anyways, back to celebration, we've already planned out a bit on how to celebrate one of the birthdays this month. It will be nice to have Mexican food Dallas but there are no Mexican restaurant Dallas here in our area. It will be ideal to get party hall rentals in Dallas but we plan for this celebration to be just simple and affordable. So, off we will go to one of our favorite local Thai restaurants. This restaurant doesn't just serve delicious, authentic Thai food but at a reasonable price too!
But I know that celebrations are more than food and fun. It's a way of remembering and thanking God of his great favor in our lives by granting us another year in this life.
