I have never been a fan of Japanese food.I remember trying it before when I was in college and I didn't like it. So, I never tried it again for quite some time. Then, my Hubby has been curious on Sushi and bought a pack of them in Carrefour. He loved it and has been buying them everytime we do our groceries. After so much persuasion my Hubby let me try them again and I was surprise that it's actually nice. I especially like the biting taste of the wasabi on the sushi.
And from Carrefour pre packed sushi, we then tried the Japanese restaurant in Diana called Umami. So, these are the food we ordered. It was tasty! And not to mention we got a 20% discount from our food because we have a Diana Mall Discount card. Yippee!!
Yes, I can 'expertly' eat with chopsticks now. I've only learned this here in Thailand

I am not into sushi too but the tempura makes me drool now. Here in my place 4 or 5 pieces is worth $7. Then I discover a chinese/japanese buffet restaurant that I could eat all you can tempura for just $15 with sushi and bulalo and other dishes. If hubby and I go to that restaurant I forget the diet and just enjoy the moment hehe. happy Sunday!

I'm also curious about Japanese food too. I haven't tried any of it because my friend told me that Japanese restaurants here in Cagayan de Oro City are not good. Hope to try that sushi when I get there...he.he.he.he
