As I've mentioned in my previous post " Not so Silent Night', our Li'l boy was constantly coughing the other night. So, yesterday we decided to have him checked. This time, we went to a pediatrician who specializes in pulmonary medicine. This doctor is said to have a lot of patients so, we asked our cousin to set an appointment for us. Surprisingly, when we arrived at the hospital there were not a lot of people and in fact, we immediately got served.
The lady doctor was very kind and gentle to Lyle. She asked us a series of questions and took note of everything. So, the result of the check up? Sadly, Lyle is suspected to have asthma. She said, it's still due for observation but his symptoms are the same as asthma. She then told us some of the do's and dont's like avoiding applying cologne, powder, oils and everything that has strong scents and etc. She also prescribed some medicine for him.
As of now, Lyle's not coughing that much anymore. His medicine is truly effective. I just hope that it's not asthma because then, there will be a lot of limitations for him as he grows up. Praying for Lyle's healing...
