Our 4 year old girl sometimes gives us amusing remarks that make us chuckle. I can't remember many of them but here are samples of her chatter that is themed on ' Husbands'.
Scene 1: At the gasoline station
Tricia: What are you doing, Appa?
Appa: I'm putting gas for the motorcycle.. This is how you do it.. ( Appa demonstrating how to put gas inside the tank and etc..)
Tricia : ( Becomes silent for awhile and then.. ) Oh?.. That's how you do it. When I grow up, and when I have a husband, we will come here in the gas station and I'll teach him how to put gas for our motorcycle!
Appa: ( Scratches head and just become silent..)
Scene 2: Inside the van with Pati ( Grand mother in Tamil) and the Attais ( Aunts in Tamil)
Tricia: Why are you not married yet Debo Attai?
Debo Attai: Because I'm still young.
Tricia: When I grow up, I will marry a Filipino!
Pati: Why not Indian, same like your Amma married to your Appa who's an Indian.
Tricia: Ah..... ( thinks hard..) OK.. I'll marry an Indian.
* note: The Filipino Amma nevercoached her to choose a Filipino husband.. ok? hehehe!!
