Missing In Action

I've been 'missing' in the blogosphere for many days now and it seems I've been gone for many weeks already. I missed my routine of blogging and visiting my friends' blogs.

We are now in Malaysia, been here for a few days and we're settled now. I already renewed my Philippines passport and tomorrow we will be applying for a renewal of my Malaysian visa. I pray that the officers here won't give us a hard time. Even if this is the 4th time I'm renewing but I still feel tensed up everytime we go through this process. It's really quite stressful to do all these processing yearly. Not to mention, we all have to wake up early in the morning, queue up as early as 7 am with other hundred migrants, get our number, fill up some forms and have it certified at the Commission of Oaths (that's another long queue) and then wait for our number to be called and it'll be about 3-4 pm then. It's a whole day affair. Then I have to wait for my visa to be done after 3-5 working days. That has been our yearly routine for renewing my visa. The officers here seem so strict. They hardly smile and at times I saw them scolding some people even if there's a big sign in front of their counter "service with a smile". But I can't complain, this is one of the challenges of cross-cultural marriage..hhaaha!!

Anyways, the good thing is while waiting for my visa to be done, we'll have a lot of free time to go around( I'm excited to go around the malls here) , meet some friends and relax..AND then do another visa application for the whole family. This time it'll be our Thai visa..hahah!! The never ending visa applications and processing. It makes me dizzy sometimes. hehehe!
