Murphy and Lyle

This is our son, Lyle with his favorite puppy, Murphy. This photo was taken at our friends' house where Lyle goes 3 afternoons a week.

At first, I was really skeptical whether Lyle would want to stay in our friends house on some afternoons while I homeschool Tricia. But when I found out that they have a puppy, I immediately knew that he would be drawn by it.

Now, he excitedly goes to our friends' house. He enjoys being their with his Kuyas and of course the puppy ( and dogs) too. Whenever he comes home, he never stops talking about Murphy, Bruno, Marley and his Kuya. He just loves them so much.

With his love for puppies, it's so tempting to get one for him and Tricia, but then, it's not easy to have pets. Then we need to buy dog food, a dog bed and other accessories, not to mention feed it and clean up all the mess it makes. Whew! It would be like having a third child..LOL! I'm satisfied and so happy with 2 children maybe we'll think about that only when the kids are fully grown and know how to take care of pets on their own.
