Baby Steps with the Fly Lady

As mentioned in my other blog, I've just signed up in Fly Lady's website. This is a site to teach you in home organization, cleaning and etc. Since my hands are quite full with homeschooling my daughter ( and my son in the next few weeks) and at the same time taking care of my kids, I feel I really needed much help in doing the chores around the house. Wish I could hire a house help but it's not easy finding one here in Thailand and at the same time we can't afford in hiring one. So, I resort to free online help in finding 'peace' and organization in one's home. lol!

I'm still a few steps into the program and I'm enjoying on how everything comes easy and fast like devoting only 15 minutes in doing a certain task. Yes, sometimes we can be bogged down by perfection, wanting to finish the job at one time and that actually leads us to procrastinate until you realize the the house is in CHAOS. It's funny how the Fly Lady defines CHAOS though, it means Can't Have Anyone Over Syndrome. Yeah, because the house is a mess. lol!

Anyways, I'm encouraged by everyone's testimonial in this site on how everyone learned to organize their home and time one baby step at a time. Some can even have a lot of extra time making oversized king quilts because they've learned how to manage their time and organized their home.
