My 34th

Last Tuesday was my 34th birthday. Wow! It has been a great 34 years and I thank God for everything that He has done in my life.

My birthday was full of surprises. A load of thanks to my Hubby who planned some things for me to have a fun filled and memorable birthday. At 12:02 AM, he together with my brother and sis in law greeted me with a birthday cake and a bouquet of flowers. I was upstairs and trying to put my daughter back to sleep after waking up from her dream. So, my Hubby asked me to come down and the moment I came out of the room, I already knew what they were up to because I could already smell the candles burning from the cake. :)

Then during lunch time, my Hubby came back home from work to fetch me. He didn't tell me where we were going and wouldn't want to answer me when I asked. I had a lot of guesses on my mind but I already ruled out 'lunch date' since he already asked me beforehand to take my lunch before he comes. LOL! But on our way, I was already thinking that maybe he's going to take me for a movie, buy some clothes or lingerie or simply spend time together.

And finally, I got the biggest surprise when he parked the car in front of Garbunting Spa. I know that going to a spa is a 'luxury' and I was already getting prepared with my 'speech' on how to politely refuse his very generous gift. But he already showed me the gift voucher he bought a few days beforehand because he also feared that I might refuse his gift.

So, I went to the spa center with him. And there I had my 3.5 hour spa ( sauna, aromatherapy, body scrub, facial scrub, oil massage and fish spa) and felt like Queen Esther. Wow!! It was indeed a lovely gift from my Hubby.

Then after the delightful spa, my Hubby fetched me again and brought me for coffee at a new coffee shop in town. :)) Then evening was spent with family and brother's family as we had pizza for dinner. And last but not the least, HUbby and I had another coffee date at night!

My birthday was really a very special day and I thank God for it!! ... it made me actually wish that everyday would e my birthday..LOL!
