Using the internet has been one of the activities we've been using in our homeschool now. Actually, we are using a book for our science and history that is internet linked. It's called the Usborne's Children's Encyclopedia. It's amazing how every subject on each page has a lot of links in the internet with different games, activities, presentations and etc. that are meant for the kids. This indeed enhances the learning experience of the students and makes them remember their topics without even trying hard to.
Once, we studied about the Ancient Rome and one of the internet games was to dig through one of the modern streets in Rome and look for ancient items such as gold coins and different artifacts. My li'l girl indeed enjoyed the game and she has also learned the phases and process of digging through archeological sites.
