A Better Car

After sending our car for repair, Hubby and I feel that the car's performance seems so much better now. We both love how the engine sounds and how it runs now. My only complain is that I need to 'find' the 3rd gear and reverse gear. Hubby said, that's because the gear has just been repaired, so it's not in a very good condition. If we have bought a new gear box set, then we won't have problems with 'finding' the gear. But the costs for getting a new set would just be too much for us and that's why we opted for the mechanic to just repair it with all his 'might'! LOL! And thank God he did! Because we did save half of the costs.

The mechanic is actually my Hubby's friend, a former student at our center and so, we are assured that he didn't take advantage of us. As foreigners, there's always a tendency to for other locals to overprice their services sometimes because of the mentality that foreigners are either rich or we don't know the actual rates. Anyways, my Hubby is so satisfied with the mechanics work, he also cleaned the engine, checked and repaired other parts such as the car exhaust and did other extra things. We plan to regularly bring our car their and the center's van for repair and maintenance.
