I was not a tea drinker. I have always been a coffee lover but this all changed when I married my husband and also after frequent visits to Malaysia. You see my Husband prefers tea over coffee and in Malaysia most people are tea drinkers. They also have what is called as tea time in the afternoons when they drink tea and eat some ‘kuay’. From where I come from from , only few people like to drink tea because we are more used to drink coffee ( and coke!).
So, that’s why before, when people offer me tea ( in Malaysia), I politely refuse and wish that they would offer me coffee instead. LOL! But now, I’ve grown to like plain tea and we sometimes have family tea time in the afternoons.
Of course, I’ll never outgrown my love for coffee but at least now, I can have pleasure drinking plain tea. My Hubby and daughter loves tea so, that the reason why we have tea times in the afternoons as opposed to coffee time.
Anyways, now we have the complete paraphernalia for tea time like Tea pots, cups and saucers. I would love to receive tea gift baskets too to add to my paraphernalia.
