A few weeks ago, I discovered that we have a Jumpstart Babies and Jumpstart Preschool CD. I completely forgot this CD which our friend gave us several years before. So, I tried it for our 2 ( and a half) year old boy and I was surprised that he has easily mastered how to control and click the mouse.
I let him play the Jumpstart Babies first but I found that he was easily bored with the game as all he had to do was click and click anything and anywhere. Then, I let him try to play the Jumpstart Preschool and he enjoyed it! I'm also amused that he can indeed comprehend the instructions and he does things right. But sometimes, he just explores and click almost everything to see what happens if he clicks a certain character. Some of the games are also a bit difficult for him but I'm glad that he is also learning a lot through the games too.
It's nice that the computer games now are also becoming educational. I would prefer to let them play educational games rather than just games purely for entertainment. Of course when they're older ( like in their teens) they can play psp 3000 or psp go and other cheap games too.
