It was my first time to drive by myself yesterday to fetch my girl from school. It's indeed a 'milestone' for me after years of being scared to get back to driving. And I did it!
Today was Day 2 of fetching my daughter to school. Yesterday, Hubby was at home and so he took care of our li'l boy while I went out. But today, Hubby had to work so, I was left with no choice but to also bring the li'l one with me. I was a bit more nervous because my li'l boy is quite active and I might get distracted. But surprisingly, he behaved well going to the school. He just sat still in the front but kept talking and asking me some questions.
When we fetched Tricia, he was so excited to see his sister. But the challenge came when they were already both at the back seat. Lyle was meddling with her things and Tricia was protecting her things.. then they fought, then someone whined and cried. Whew!!
The supposedly very short trip back home became the longest drive ever. LOL! I had to try hard to keep my cool and at the same time concentrate on the road. Boy, that was stressful! LOL!
But I was relieved to be back home and I can't imagine doing this everyday... LOL!
