Hi! This is my first time to join this movie meme! And this week's theme is Suspense Thriller. One eerie movie that is watched is the Blairwitch Project. I'm not into suspense thrillers but if I could remember it correctly, we were asked to write a review on this movie when I was in the university. So, that's the reason, we went all the way to Megamall just to watch this movie.
This movie is about 3 student filmmakers who went into the woods to shot a documentary on the urban legend, The Blair Witch. As a result they got lost in the woods and never returned. It was only a year later that this film and video was found and was made into a movie.
What was scary about the film was that you'll never know who or what was 'stalking' them and it just ended without ever knowing what happened to the students. The shoots from the camera were shaky and all you could hear were screams of terror and fear from the background.
I guess this was one movie that left me with a very heavy heart watching it. I guess, it also comes from the fact that the film was said to be the 'real' film of the students. So, until now it remains a mystery as to who or what caused the disappearance of the students.

i can't forget this movie either. i watched this when i went on vacation in bukidnon at my bff's hometown to take a break from the city. it was indeed terrifying, it didn't make me sleep well for weeks. only later was i disappointed when i learned from hubby that it was all just filmed. it was made to look like it was a "real" documentary by those students but it wasn't. he saw the interview and the making on discovery channel years ago.

i love suspense/thriller movies, will watch this.
this one scared me out of my wits too. But as always, i go check on stuff and discover that it's just a movie. the little hands scared me the most.
