I've been here in the Philippines for 4 months now and guess what, I've been craving for Thai and Indian food for a long time already. It's not just me who's experiencing this but my Hubby too. We had a taste of Indian food when my Hubby arrived because he brought with him some Indian Curry powder so we cooked some Indian food for his birthday, but sadly after the flood, our Indian powder has also gone with the water. Huhuhuh!
A few weeks ago, we also went to Little Bangkok ( a very small shop that sells a lot of things from Thailand) and discovered some Thai green curry paste. Then last Saturday I made some Thai green curry for lunch. Yum!! Now I'm longing for more and would want to go to that shop again to buy some green curry paste. I hope they will have more things from Thailand so we can still taste the food we missed there.
I also wish there would be a future Little India here, where we can buy some Indian curry powder... hmm.... Good I'm not pregnant, if not, then my Hubby will have to go crazy looking for Indian curry in the whole of Cagayan de Oro city..hahah!

When I lived in the USA, I cooked green curry with the paste and coconut milk sold over there. When I went back to Thailand, I found out that the taste from the paste was totally different from the real one I have in Thailand.
Green curry is still my favorite curry ever.
