Yesterday was Tricia's first trip to the dentist. Convincing her to go to the dentist was not easy. We had to 'bribe' her that we'll be going to KetKai after the check up and be eating out too. It didn't work that easily but I guess what comforted her was the thought that we will be with her in the room during the check up. And then, when she knew that her cousin Z was also going to have his dental check up with her, she stopped whining.
It was indeed a pleasant 1st dental check up for Tricia since her dentist was not a 'stranger' to her but an Aunty. Yes, my cousin, Gisan is her dentist and she's also good in dealing with kids.
As for the check up, I didn't expect Tricia to have a lot of decayed teeth that needs to have some filling. Yes, 5 teeth needs filling and so we have to go back again for that. Tsk..tsk..anyways, we'll be going back again next week for the filling and hopefully she'll have the same pleasant experience as her check up. :)
