The PC That Once Floated

I was using my Mom's PC since I arrived here in Cagayan de Oro. It was given to her by my brother's family and it was still a few months old when I came. It was a good one, it had a very small cpu which was about 1/3 the size of a regular CPU. But during the flood last week, we were not able to save it as well as our other belongings.

Then, after the flood, we found out that my Mom's computer table broke and the CPU fell off. So, I assume that since the water level on my Mom's house was more than 5 feet, then the CPU must have floated for quite sometime. :)

But the good news is, when my cousin's husband checked it, he said that we just have to replace the hard drive, monitor and dvd rom and it'll be okay. We did a little bit of math and found out that to buy all these will cost about 5thousand pesos. Hmmm... what do you think? I guess, it'll still be worth it buying those parts huh? Good thing, that PC didn't have tape drives or other gadgets attached to it and it would have also been broken.

Oh my god! we now have a floating pc going around! will make great news ;)

Kidding, but jokes apart.. the same thing happened to an uncle of mine right here in India! and the best part was while the pc floated, he was up on the table saving himself from the flood instead of saving the pc.. hahaha

Take care sis, have a great day ahead :)
