It's almost a month now and we're still not back home. I'm longing to go back to our house in Balulang but at the same time, I'm not sure how it'll be once we go back. The reason why it took us some time to go back is that, we are making sure that everything okay before we settle back in. So, the repairs are done now..and we're just waiting for the repainting to be done.
The 3rd of January will indeed be a day we will never forget. My Hubby asked me if I got 'traumatized' by the whole flood experience or not. Hmm.. maybe not but then, I guess we would be extra cautious now once the rain is heavy and non-stop. It's not really safe now to live near the river but as of now, we don't have much choice.
We are staying comfortably in our relatives house, but then as they say, there's no place like home. :) So, hopefully our house will be ready by next week and once again live our 'normal' lives. :)
