Today turned out to be 'vaccine day' for our kids. We went to the hospital in the morning to have Lyle's 6 in 1 vaccine. While waiting for his turn, I was just looking at Tricia's appointment book and discovered that she is also scheduled to be immunized on Monday. So, we asked the nurse if she can have it today and she agreed. Tricia was a bit surprised why she also needs to have her vaccine while we were only there for Lyle's one. So calmly, slowly and thoroughly we had to explain to her why. She was very hesistant at first as she had a bad experience last year (the nurse had to insert the needle in her arm twice as she jerked the first time and the needle wasn't properly positioned) but finally she got convinced.
It was a long wait for us at the hospital because it was just crowded. It's public holiday today here so maybe that explains the crowd. When finally, it was time for our kids' jab , of course there was crying and squealing. It was a pitiful sight.
Next vaccine appointment will be in July and it's still going to for both of them. :)
