How We Spent Our Children's Day

Our kids were excited when we announced that it was Children's Day yesterday. We really didn't plan out a specific program for them but we thought of going around the city to see what it has to offer for the kids. But we were surprise to see there was massive traffic throughout the city. I guess all parents thought the same that day - to bring their kids out.

It was already noontime when we went out of the house so we decided to bring the kids to the mall for lunch, then maybe attend one of the programs for the kids there and let them play in the playpen. But when we went to the mall, it was just packed with people. Instead of treating them for pizza, we just went to a small Japanese restaurant as it's the only place that's not crowded with people.

And so after lunch, we decided to go out of the mall and drive around to see where's the best 'uncrowded' place to bring our kids. Then, my Hubby thought of the park. And we're glad we went there because it was so peaceful there and the kids really had a great time at the playground. We then bought a few goodies for them. And on the way home, they had all the smiles and thank God for the wonderful Children's day. Kids are just easy to please.. :)
